AGT is seeking a Pre-Sales Video Systems Engineer who has the business development savvy to meet and exceed our clients� expectations. Customer service skills are a must, as this is a client-facing position. You will be responsible for providing sound Video systems design and configurations to our clients based around AGT�s UC Video and Video Network Testing Platforms. The Video Systems Engineer will be required to support project management tasks, technical oversight and technical sales support. The engineer must be able to guide both our sales executives and clients through the pre-sales technical process; this includes identifying clients� current networking needs, justifying AGT�s technology selections and addressing questions regarding the proposed solutions. You will be providing solutions that incorporate a wide selection of technologies which can incorporate both AGT and non- AGT products alike.
The Pre-Sales Video Systems Engineer role is responsible for showcasing AGT product solutions, leveraging demonstrations, customer presentations, running proof of concepts, etc. This position will require the SE to design and configure products to meet specific customer needs. The Engineer must maintain the technical issues that arise during the approval process and ensure a rapid resolution by working with the client and Sales Team. They will gain access to the broad palette of video conferencing technologies and applications in a variety of vertical markets. In addition to technological aptitude, and the ability to learn quickly and stay current, the ideal candidate's interpersonal, presentation and troubleshooting skills must be of a high level.

| Duties: | Job Functions:
- Work with a sales team to identify, gather requirements for solutions, and draft proposals.
Provide pre-sales support to Sales Executives.
- Design solutions and plan implementations with the sales team and customer.
- Translate business needs into technology specifications.
- Configure hardware and software in support of solution deployments.
- Stay current with new technologies including competitors and innovations and recommend adoption of new technologies.
- Maintain certifications relevant to job role and as required for the position.
- Perform technical presentations, scope(s) of work, Bill(s) of Material for customers, partners and prospects.
- Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
- Analyze needs of the Sales team and create supporting documentation, or tools, to better equip the team in the sales.
- Ability to research product specifications and make recommendations based on stated goals.
- Develop video architectural diagrams using Microsoft Visio.

| Qualifications: | Requirements:
- Certified Video Engineer (CVE) a plus
- Typically requires BS/BA or equivalent certification or experience in IT
- 3-5 years of experience in networking with an emphasis on Video Conferencing Services and/or product offerings within an IT Support/Sales environment
- Video systems experience with solution selling experience is a plus
- Certifications in multiple video solution vendors such as Polycom, etc. is a plus
- Experience in numerous areas of networking, including local and wide area networks
- Strong technical documentation skills including creating and presenting enterprise video network architectural diagrams and RFP responses
- Strong communication skills acting as a principal technical resource in presentations by demonstrating technical expertise and responding to customer inquiries
- Understanding of the solution life cycle from inception to operation
- Knowledge of video engagement methodologies is a plus

- Have a history of working unsupervised or in a team environment while achieving required goals.
Must be highly motivated and willing to learn new skills
- Must be able to design video networks meeting complex requirements which involve cross-functional disciplines
- An understanding of IP video, Videoconferencing ITU standards
- Must have a strong understanding of VVoIP technologies and how they are employed in SIP and H.323 video environments,
- Knowledge in IP, switching and routing protocols, QoS is a plus
- A good grasp of Unified Communications is a plus
- Be self-motivated to follow through on any issue until completely resolved
